My mouth/face infection is almost gone. I'm still needing platelets regularly. I'm still ready to go home, but I get why it's important to be here. The days go by pretty fast, but there are so many of them. The docs are very happy with my progress.
And now for what's happening in my garden thanks to Betsy C. She sent me a few photos which is almost as good as grandkid pics. Rowan is sitting up by herself now. She is a strong and adorable little girl. Thomas is Thomas. I miss them and my kids so much.

DeleteBeautiful garden! Sorry I have not checked in--life and the end of the VMI summer session have me distracted. Also, a storm last week did a number on my own garden (which is ravaged by blight, too). Anyway, so glad to hear everything is moving along well, except for the infection, but that's probably a thing of the past by now. I think of you many times a day and send you lightning bolts of good energy! Can't wait until you're back in VA (although be glad you missed this insane heat wave).

We have stone like you but the weeds make me crazy. I tested out little white stones under the big stones but it looks a little goofy for us. So, we decided to embrace the weedeater which we are awful about following up after mowing with it. I'm going to form a new weedeater habit. Oh, what's a deer with no eyes and no legs? Still no eye deer. xoxoxo
